(Video after the jump showing kids’ behind the scenes) Mind you, it’d be a very rare 6-11 year old who could tell you who Warren Buffett IS much less appreciate his likeness as a cartoon character to teach financial literacy via kid-vid…so this falls into my ‘hey, whatever works’ category of parent appeal to get the buzz g

Comic-Con 2009: The nasty, brutish and short life of Batman

The great thing about Batman, is that anyone, if sufficiently dedicated and wealthy, could become him. He doesn’t have any superpowers, magic rings, or radioactive rays turning him into a hero. But of course it couldn’t be a simple babysitting visit. Oh no, nothing can ever be easy! The first night there the faucet on the kitchen sink exploded like a geyser for absolutely no reason and the whole kitchen just about flooded as we tried to hold towels over the spraying water and search for the cut-o

Robinson’s Justice League of America Starts Taking Shape

From Lan Pitts, whose Blog@ account is on the fritz, with minimal input from me: News coming straight from the DC panel: we have James Robinson’s Justice League team that will star in his upcoming run on the series. “The team will have Mon-El (assuming a “super”-mantle), Dick Grayson Batman, Donna Troy and Hal Jordan The other characters are a mystery”, says Robinson. “Though one of the ‘mystery’ members is Congorilla.” Interesting concept, I must say. Especially since Robinson also said he ha
