Good time to be a geeky girl

Several years ago I came out of the closet as being a girl-geek.I read comic books and watch cartoons with my kids. I cringe when my son is wearing a Spider-Man t-shirt with Batman underwear (the characters are from different “universes” - Marvel and DC). I love SciFi and, unlike my co-host, have seen all of the Star Wars and Star Trek movies (multiple times for each). I listen to This Week in Tech (although I think it could benefit from a little editing) and have “appeared” on ExtraLife Radio (
