This Batmobile is unlike any Batman vehicle ever seen before! Batman thunders through Gotham City in a high-tech ride that strikes fear into the criminals of the city with its combination of speed and power. Prominently featured in the movie, it includes electronics that bring key scenes to life. The rocket engine in the rear and lasers in the front both light up and include cool sounds. The Batmobile also transforms into attack mode with twin projectiles that leap out and forward at the touch of a button.Black and stealthy–with rubber wheels and a rock-solid, plastic construction–this Batmobile looks and feels more like an armored tank. Atop the vehicle sit three red buttons. Press the first one, and an engine revs and a huge red light at the rear flashes. Press the second, and hidden missile launchers spring from either side of the car with a clatter. (You can easily fold them closed again.) The third button creates the sound effect of missiles firing. A hatch on top opens to reveal the driver’s seat and a rotating steering control. Accompanied by three button-cell batteries, this heavy-duty toy rolls smoothly along the floor. Action figures are sold separately. –Andy Boynton

5 Stars Super car, great for dexterity
You HAVE to buy this car. Hands down, one of the coolest Batmobiles ever. (Honestly, is there REALLY anything cooler for a boy than Batman and his car?) Anyway, the darts in this car require manipulation for them to snap in just right to refire, which is great to teach young hands dexterity and just basically how to figure out things and solve problems. Other than that, our Batman fits in and off he goes, zooming after the joker, after bouncing off the cat’s tail. Great, great toy, one that goes to bed with my youngster at night and incredibly cool. We also have the remote-controlled one which is a blast as well! Highly recommend!

Very cool batmobile. Glad I read the reviews: when I first noticed “scratches” on the toy, I remembered that those are deliberate battle scars.
Rushed to acquire a Batman Begins basic figure to fit in the cockpit. Bought the “BATMAN BEGINS Basic Figures (Character=H1327:Exo Suit)” figure, which mostly fits, but still gets his bat ears smushed a little when you close the cockpit door. 
Maybe other figures might not have that problem, but I’m not willing to pay today’s going rate of $10-15 for a 5″ figure, so unless they reissue a line of Batman Begins figures, we’ll have to make do with the one we have.
5 Stars One of the best Batman toys you can buy!
I bought this toy for my 4 year old nephew as a Christmas gift and it may as well have been as if the other toys he received didn’t even exist. This is a very well made, extreamly durable, highly imaginitive car that grabbed his attention right away and held it. The car has held up very well since he received it and he still plays with it. He has not in any way damaged the toy and believe me, he is hard on toys. You will not be disappointed with this car!

By reports from his dad, Luke liked this birthday gift. He got it on Nov. 8th, and by now (11/23) it’s still running. Good work, Mattel - and China!
