5 Stars Even better then I’d hoped
I’ve been waiting for this since I started reading (and loving) All Star Superman. The fantastic art coupled with writer Grant Morrison’s Silver-Age psychadelia has made this the last comic I read on Wednesday, to savor its comic-book deliciousness. Now that the series has wrapped its initial 12-issue run, what better way to commemorate than an amazing figure based on Frank Quitely’s Superman?
The figure itself is beautiful, with great sculpting and and a fantastic paint job. The base it stands on is nothing special, but the figure stands up very well and has a nice blend in articulation and stability.
DC Direct knocks another one out of the park, folks. Awesome toy.
