I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old son who has recently discovered Batman. He loves it. The figures are solid plastic and very sturdy with oversized hands and feet. The arms move, the heads turn a little and you can spin their legs at the waist. The problem I have with them is that they don’t stand up well. You have to find just the right combination of twist at the waist and arm position to get them to balance and even then they tip over very easily. All of the figures in the series are depicted in action poses and none of the figures including Batman fit into the Batmobile very well. You can twist them around a bit and get them in but they fall out pretty easy. My son can get Batman in by himself but if he wants someone else in the car he needs help. Given that the toy is marketed for 3-5 year olds I would have thought they would have given them sturdy bases to avoid the frustration factor. Or at least made sure that Batman fit in the Batmobile. My son loves them though and they do well in the bathtub. The Batmobile is sturdy and rolls well. The back fin is a sturdy rubber-like material vs hard plastic which is great because if it was hard plastic I am sure it would have been broken by now. Overall I like these figures the design represents the series well and it is great introduction to action figures as there aren’t any small parts to lose or swallow. Most importantly my son loves them.
