4 Stars Really nice, but too big for a four yr. old.
This is a really nice quality costume. My four year old will have it for a long time. It was pretty big for him (who’s in the 90th percentile for height), so the foam that creates the muscle chest was choking him and getting in his face. So I altered it at the waist which pulled it down enough to fit correctly at the neck (also altered the arms and legs). It’s a really great costume for a bigger kid, but I’d much rather have it run too big than too small because then at least you can fix it. The mask fit perfectly and he LOVES the belt.

My kid loves the batman costume but he is only 3 and after running around in this one for 5 minutes he was sweating up a storm. Cant imagine what it will be like after an hour… The cape is a lot shorter than the one shown in the picture for the toddler size. Otherwise its not bad.

Bought for my 4 yr old son for Xmas 2009. He loved it…but.. Mom (me) bought it too big (size 7/8) b/c he’s so tall. I should have gotten the 4/5 or 5/6. His older cousin (8 yrs) fit well into it. Nonetheless he wears it. Very well made.

I purchased this Batman costume for my 3 year old son for Halloween. He loved the costume, and kept it on the entire time we trick-or-treated. It was comfortable and pretty easy to get on. The only thing was the ‘muscles’ were a little big and hard to fit into the carseat, but not a big issue.
